Security Abstract and Title has had a strong presence in St. Clair County since 1928. On January 1, 1992, the branch operation was purchased by Marvin and Karen Steinke, who renamed the office Metro East Title Corporation. Today, Metro East Title continues in the same strong tradition that began 76 years ago...customer service with reasonable rates. The Title Plant is one of the most extensive in the Midwest. Records date back farther than those in the St. Clair County Courthouse. This is attractive not only for title searches, but also for the ever popular Genealogy enthusiast.
